Laser Lithotripsy:  A Holmium Laser can be used to disintegrate a kidney stone.  An endoscope is inserted next to the stone. With the endoscope in place, a laser fiber is inserted through the endoscope to touch the stone. The laser uses short rapid pulses of energy to break up the kidney stone into smaller particles allowing the body to flush the stone naturally.

Electrohydraulic Lithotripsy (EHL) disintegrates the kidney stone(s) using a probe to touch the stone(s). An endoscope is inserted up to the stone. The EHL probe is passed through the endoscope and up to touch the stone(s). EHL administers a spark that creates a gas shock wave to disintegrate the stone(s) into small pieces which allow the body to flush the stone naturally.

Lithoclast Lithotripsy disintegrates the kidney stone(s) using a special pneumatic probe that touches the stone to break it up into fragments. After the probe has been passed up through the ureteroscope (small tube) to the stone, it breaks the stone into fragments which allow the body to flush the stone naturally.
